7. Debit Order Instructions

I/we, the listed account payer(s), hereby authorise you to draw against my/our account with the below mentioned bank (or any other bank or branch to which i/we may transfer my/our account) an amount necessary for payment of the monthly installment due in terms of the registration contract on the day of each month of the agreed period. . All such withdrawals from my/our bank account by ATASA shall be treated as though they had been signed by me/us personally. I/We agree to pay any bank charges relating to this Debit Order instruction. Unpaid cheques or rejected debit orders will incur a R200 administration charge. I/We understand that I/We shall not be entitled to any refund of amounts that have been withdrawn while this authority is in force if such amounts were legally owing to ATASA. This authority may only be cancelled by me /us on the proviso that the outstanding amount owing has been settled and that ATASA is given 30 days notice in writing, sent by prepaid registered post. Receipt of this instruction by ATASA shall be regarded as receipt thereof by my/our bank

9. Terms and Conditions

A) All registration fees/deposits are required up-front and are non-refundable. B) The student’s failure to attend classes for whatsoever reason shall in no way entitle him/her or other signatories to this document from full liability for the payment of the fees and other charges. C) No cancellation of this contract shall be of force or effect without written consent thereto by an authorised officer of ATASA. D) The right to attend classes and write exams is not transferable. E) ATASA shall have the right to alter all Time Tables, Course commencement and completion dates, where and whenever necessary as well as Holiday and Vacation durations. F) ATASA reserves the right to create and apply rules, including due performance; the student hereby agrees to be bound by all such rules. G) ATASA reserves the right to exclude the student from classes and examination as it may be deemed necessary without in anyway detracting from the right of recovering the fees payable by the student to ATASA and to withhold a student examination results or to dismiss him/her for failing to pay all or part of required fees or for failing to comply with any School rules or the terms of this contract. H) The student and other signatories hereby agree to pay all tuition and other fees whenever they fail due to ATASA without any further notice being issued. Should ATASA institute legal action against a fees defaulter, the liability of all the costs involved will fall on the Signatories to this contract other than ATASA, jointly as well as several. I) Where tuition fees are payable to ATASA in instalments, the failure to pay any single instalment in time will result in full balance becoming immediately due to and payable without further notice. J) Tuition fees payable to ATSA do not include college membership fees, examination fees, accommodation fees, stationary or other items. Where fees for external exams and study materials are not known in advance, the student hereby agrees to accept the quotations or charges thereof whenever made in the course of the study programme. Furthermore, it shall be the responsibility of the student to bear the cost of transport for study trips, stationary and any other specialised consumables used during the course. K) External assessments and/or exams are compulsory in all our programmes. The student is responsible for ensuring that he/she has been properly registered with the relevant external institute or examining body where applicable in time and that he/she has been registered for the correct or relevant examination with such an institute or exam body. L) The student’s failure to register or write examination for whatever reason shall in no way entitle him/her to any sort of reduction in tuition fees, nor will it absolve him/her from full liability for the payment of tuition fees due. M) No relaxation, variation or indulgence granted by ATASA to other signatories hereby in respect of this agreement shall constitute waiver of any vested rights vested in ATASA in terms hereof. N) ATASA shall be deemed to include any division/branch of ATASA or any other juristic person to whom the rights and obligations of ATASA as contained herein may be ceded/assigned. O) In addition to these terms of registration, the signatories further agree to abide by the ATASA Enrolment terms and conditions and student’s code of conduct as well as the Student’s residence rules and regulations. P) Fraud cases including altering information on deposit slips, exchanging fees card are criminal cases and will be reported to the Police and may lead to suspension/discontinuation of a student from the study programme.

10. Application Requirements

The following documentation must be submitted with the Registration Contract: SOUTH AFRICA CITIZENS • Certified Copy of the Student’s ID (First time registration) • Certified copy of the Account Payer’s ID • Certified copy of the Senior Certificate/ National Senior Certificate (First Time Registration) or statement of results. • Where applicable, proof of registration with external examining body • Where applicable NBT Results INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS • Certified Copy of the student’s Passport (First Time Registration) • Certified copy of the Account Payer’s Passport • Certified copy of valid Study Permit made out to the IIE • Where applicable, proof of registration with external examining body • Where applicable, NBT Results • Certified copy of National Senior Certificate equivalent qualification • Original SAQA evaluation of qualification with NQF4 equivalence for those registering for non-degree qualifications and original Universities South Africa(previously known as HESA) exemption certificates for those registering for degree studies.

Declaration

I hereby Declare that i have read and understood the terms and conditions of registration listed above and will abide by them accordingly. I further confirm that i have furnished correct, valid and required documents as stipulated above. I understand the consequences of furnishing falsified information and accept the responsibility thereof.
This confirmation above will be accepted as a signature of the applying party.
